President Elect Obama Being Criticized for not Taking Office Now

Published by nh2008 at 6:31 pm under Current Events Edit This

Lately, I have been watching the news and I have watched news programs. People in the democratic party are criticizing President Elect Barack Obama. They think he should be doing more to help the economy now. The President Elect is working very hard to try and put together his cabinet and administration members. He constantly issues statements and has many interviews that address the economic issues that the country is facing. George W. Bush has a little more than a month left in his presidential term. He will be leaving office soon but right now he is the president so he is the one who is in charge. I really like President Elect Barack Obama, he is working hard and he is also letting George W. Bush finish his last presidential term. I think that he is doing a great job. He seems like he will be a great president. He has selected very qualified employees for his cabinet and his administration. On January 20th  the country’s problems officially are on Barack Obama’s shoulders.

yah he’s shattered the record for press announcements by a president-elect and we’re still 40 some days away…

He has to let Bush finish his term. He cannot take office now. And, yes I do agree he will be a fantastic president who will take care of business.

You are absolutely right. We are all waiting for Obama to be the savior of our economy, but we’ll have to sit tight!
