Thanksgiving is soon!
Thanksgiving is soon. I am not looking forward to being at the grocery store with millions of people. Last year, the police were directing traffic entering our grocery store two days before Thanksgiving. The place was literally a mad house. I cannot believe how expensive turkey and all the necessary trimming are. You can literally spend a few hundred dollars just to get the basic necessities that you will need to cook a Thanksgiving meal for yourself and your entire family. I have no idea how to dress a turkey I leave that up to my father. I am still lost on the basics of Thanksgiving. I mean you have to defrost the turkey a few days in advance and then you have to wake up at dawn to have it ready for one or two o’clock in the afternoon. Thanksgiving is supposed to be a time to be grateful and enjoy spending time with your family. The people in charge of Thanksgiving dinner usually have to spend all their time in the kitchen and then after the meal is over they have to clean everything up. That can be very tiresome. What is your favorite Thanksgiving day memory?
