Dow continues to plunge

Published by nh2008 at 7:50 pm under Current Events, DOW, Economy Edit This

The Dow plunged again today. The Dow Industrial Average lost five hundred and fourteen points. The economy just keeps suffering. Why does this keep happening even after the 700 billion dollar bailout package has been signed? The economy is collapsing because of poor decisions made by the current administration. How are we going to recover economically when it will take months to get new financial laws and packages passed through the Congress and the House? The economy usually prospers during the holiday season due to holiday shopping. However, this holiday season many people might not shop and spend as much money due to the tough economic times. What could help the economy? I don’t know what could make a big difference right now, even a stimulus package wouldn’t do that much. Hopefully, the Dow will recover soon so Main Street can survive and thrive.
