The Disastrous Dow

Published by nh2008 at 2:44 pm under Current Events, DOW Edit This

Lately, the Dow Industrial Average continues to sink further and further. This morning after the DOW opened it hit a level below 8,000.How far will the Dow sink? Will anyone even have any money in their stock portfolios at the end of this year?

We are in a deep recession. Economists do not know when the Dow will begin to recover. The US economy is hemorrhaging millions of dollars on a daily basis. Nothing is improving despite the $700 billion dollar bailout package which has not had a positive affect on our economy. We need economists to hold a summit and find out what to do and how to fix the economy. It’s the only way that our economy will survive.

We can’t solve the problem by throwing more money at it and hoping it will stick- it’ll just disappear if we do so.

Plenty of people predicted this. The Fed and treasury knew about it. Now we’re looking to them for solutions? They got us into this mess, they aren’t going to get us out.
